If you are using like me a pair of DJM 400 from Pioneer and you want to use them with a MacBook with Bootcamp (Windows XP), here is a little tip.
1st of all, Macbook before 2008 are lacking in USB port. So often you need an extra USB hub to plug your external drives, printers and other things.
In my case, I use an external drive to store my songs. If you need to use your 2 CDJs with a software under Windows XP, you need to plug your 2 Cdjs in the USB hub. If you put one in the USB Hub and the other in the last USB port on your Macbook, it won’t work correctly.
So, be advised : a hub, 2 Cdjs with a Macbook, put your two Cdjs on your USB Hub and without any other devices.
PS : If your software runs on Max OSX, no problemo you can do as you like !
PS2 : Tested with firmware 1.3 and CDJ 1.007 drivers for Windows.
